Innovation in Medical Evidence and Development Surveillance

Opportunity

The Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA’s Innovation in Medical Evidence and Development Surveillance (IMEDS) Program is a leader in real-world evidence generation.  IMEDS serves as a way for the scientific community to access a research-permissible carbon copy of the FDA’s Sentinel Database.  There was an opportunity to provide professional support to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and contribute to the IMEDS’ ongoing success.

Our Solution

The Evidence to Practice team assisted the FDA Foundation in meeting its operational goals by providing support with strategic planning, project coordination, and quality assurance.  By spearheading the implementation of best practices for program management, we helped the Foundation optimize resource utilization, enhance partner satisfaction, and increase program effectiveness, allowing IMEDS to make a greater impact.

“Alecia has helped us develop and implement project and program management best practices, helping us to become more efficient and contributing to our quality management approach.”

– Carla Rodriguez-Watson, Director of Research, FDA Foundation
